Job Duties
Perform due diligence on client companies’ historical financial statements, projections, parsing through all financial information and documentation assessing accuracy and completeness.
Review operations to ascertain any existing and potential future accounting needs and recommend solutions for the client’s business and financial issues.
Assist with clients’ SEC Filings, including form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, S-1s, S-4s F-1s and F-4s, etc.
Facilitate & advise client companies during transition into US capital markets ensuring they adopt acceptable, compliant accounting practices and prepare financial documents in conformity with US GAAP.
Assist with preparing financial statements for client company with variance analysis and other reporting requirement.
Review all business bank accounts and conduct monthly reconciliations for client companies.
Monthly preparation of financial statements with variance analysis and other reporting requirements for Ascendant Global.
Review and monitor all business bank accounts, establish new tables of accounts as needed and assign entries to proper accounts for client companies.
Reconcile financial statements for client companies.
Assist external accounting firms to compute taxes owed, and prepare all tax returns related reports and forms at year end for Ascendant Global.
Job Requirement
Must have Master’s degree in Accounting;
At least 6 months of work experience in same or related role, e.g. financial analyst, in professional service firms;
Experience must include conducting due diligence on clients pursuing U.S. IPOs, including reviewing business models & financial statements prepared under U.S. GAAP, as well as preparing Business, Management’s Discussion and Analysis of SEC registration statements.
